The remains of the day…

These were the sad leftovers of the catamaran I saw the other morning that caught fire and so nearly sank. As you can see it did hang together long enough for the travel lift to take it to a far corner of the port of La Rochelle.

It is, or was, a Fontaine-Pajot Salina 48. Not much left of her. The guys from the yard told me that the investigators are going to be trying to work out whether the blaze was started by an electrical fault or if it was arson.
