The JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race is the largest annual yacht race of its kind in the world. 1,875 entered the event in 2008 – a record number since the race began in 1931.

Typically, there are around 16,000 sailors out on the water, from Olympic medallists and round-the-world skippers to first timers and family cruisers. For everyone, the challenge is the same: to complete the 50 nautical mile course round the Isle of Wight.
