Alinghi and BMW Oracle will meet in Geneva to discuss the 33rd competition
A meeting is being set up in Geneva next week between the Société Nautique de Genève (the Defender), and the Golden Gate Yacht Club of San Francisco (the Challenger).
The dates and places have not been revealed, nor has any agenda, but at the top of the list must be talks on whether to go ahead with a multihull one-on-one, or seek a multi-challenger event which would allow other syndicates – including Britain’s Team Origin – to take part.

It is from the commodores of the Royal Yacht Squadron, New York Yacht Club, Royal Perth Yacht Club, San Diego Yacht Club and Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
