Michel Desjoyeaux sailing the new Farr-designed Open 60 Foncia has won the Saint Nazaire to Saint Malo race taking more than five and a half hours off the course record. He also beat two other Farr-designed Open 60s – Jérémie Beyou’s Delta Dore and Vincent Riou’s PRB – who were all using the event as a testing opportunity for the forthcoming the Transat Jacques Vabre, Barcelona two-handed race and the Vendee Globe.
