This year’s opening event in the TP52 Breitling MedCup Circuit 2007 series will run from 13-17 June which coincides with the finish of the America’s Cup. This means that many of the world’s top sailors will be on the start line – up to 25 boats expected.

The venue for the opening event is Alicante with other events throughout the year taking place in Mallorca, Portugal and France. Chatting about this year’s series Ignacio Triay, Director of the MedCup Circuit said: ¨We have been working hard to ensure that the Breitling MedCup continues to attract the best sailors in the world. We have selected five great venues, amongst them Alicante, to host the events this year…”
