With less than five days before Cowes Week gets underway entries are still flooding in making the total entry to date (1000 this morning) 959. With the numbers as they stand, here are some interesting entries worth watching out for.

Australian flavour
In addition to Skandia hosting visits by Australian sailing supremos John Bertrand and Grant Wharington during Skandia Cowes Week, and the Skandia Geelong Week Skandia Larriken II crew representatives racing in the Hunter 707 class, Glenn Bourke, the Australian CEO of the Volvo Ocean Race (three times Laser World Champion in 1988,89 & 90 and has competed in the America’s Cup three times, as well as twice winning the accolade ‘Australian Yachtsman of the Year’) is racing in Cowes on the Laser SB3 ‘Musto’ (3082).
