The multihull Switch.fr competing in Class 3 of the Route du Rhum has capsized.

Skipper Charlie Capellen has been in contact with the race organizers reporting that he is unharmed and is currently waiting in the central hull for the rescue team to arrive in about two hour’s time.

According to the latest position log at 1200 today Switch.fr was was in third place, approximately 27 miles from the leading yacht Imagine-Institut de Maladies Genertiques (Pierre Antoine) at a position of 45 45.20′ N12 18.12′ W when the capsize happened.
