Gyenese Balazs, Gyula Monus and Karoly Vezer were the winners of the Soling world championship practice race held yesterday at Veleiros do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. In second place were the Argentineans Gustavo Warburg, Hernan Celedoni and Maximo Smith, with Fernando Cavalli, Carlos Trein and Roger Lamb from Brazil finishing third.

The Soling world cahmpionship opening ceremony was held yesterday morning and the first race will commences today.
