Cowes Radio provides an essential back-up to the Race Officers’ official announcements on the VHF of course – and thanks the unique position on the Royal Yacht Squadron Race Platform, Cowes Radio is always first with the inside track on postponements and recalls.

Programmes start at 7am with Roger Price and his breakfast show, music, guests, competitions and weather forecasts. At 10 am it’s time for race commentary from Simon Vigar at the Royal Yacht Squadron and Dick Johnson on the water. At 1 pm Chris Carnegy joins Dick for the afternoon’s commentary, and Chris also brings you a full results service as the races conclude. At 5pm Cheryl Buggy takes over with Regatta Report.
