LogicaCMG pulled through into the lead over Spirit of Southampton by just one mile as the Round Britian Challenge fleet sailed past Dover on their final burst home.

Having been Spirit of Southampton’s ever constant shadow for second place (and before that BG Group’s), in the past few hundred miles, overnight LogicaCMG have crept up to first led by a triumphant skipper, Duggie Gillespie and mate, Jo Summers, the only female professional in the race.

The rest of the positions remain the same as last night: Daily Telegraph (3), BG Group (4), Basilica (5), Spirit of Hong Kong (6), Vail Williams (7), Team Spirit (8).

The ETA for the first yacht to cross the finish line is midnight tonight.
