Some of the biggest names in the catamaran world including, Gavin Colby, Darren Bundock, Mitch Booth, Yves Loday, Alberto Sonino, Hugh Styles, Adam May will be competing at next week’s Formula 18 world championship at Poole.

The event, from 14-20 July, will be hosted by Parkstone YC with racing taking place in Poole Bay over windward/leeward courses. So far over 80 have signed up for the event but it is likely the entry board will exceed 100.

Over 10 boats from the home club will also be competing including Matt Eels and Matt Hardy, Nigel Sandy and Tom Montgomery and Phil and Miranda Cotton.
