Despite the recent ISAF decision to eliminate the Soling from the Olympic Games, this popular three-man keelboat class will continue to run its superb international regatta series. One of the biggest regattas this year is the European championship, which will take place on Lake Attires, Austria from 31 August-8 September. The final details of the event have already been confirmed and because of the rising Soling interest in central Europe, a large entry is expected.

Other events on the Soling calendar include the world championship in Argentina on 15-25 November. This regatta will be run by the Club Nautico San Isidro, one of South American’s leading clubs, and a series of nine races will be held.
