British sailing hero Pete Goss has fallen to 18th place (Class 40s) with 500 miles to finish
Brit Pete Goss has slipped to 18th in the Class 40 of the Route de Rhum transatlantic race. Over the last three days he has lost five places, but is now just under 500 miles from the finish.
The race is Pete’s first solo ocean race since the 1996/7 Vendee Globe, where he famously rescued French competitor Raphael Dinelli.
