Antigua Sailing Week suffering from participant stranding
Organisers of Antigua Sailing Week have decided to postpone the first day of racing, due to start on Saturday, because many of the participants booked to arrive by air aren’t yet able to get there.
The opening race will go ahead this Sunday instead.
I couldn’t helping smiling a little, though, at the way the announcement was worded. ‘Many of our participants [are] stranded in Europe,’ it says.
