Perini Navi's 88-metre superyacht is the largest to take part in the Superyacht Cup, Palma
This week Maltese Falcon confirmed that they will take part in The Superyacht Cup Palma (from 23-26 June). The iconic superyacht, from Perini Navi, at 88-metres is the largest yacht to have ever taken part in The Superyacht Cup.
Maltese Falcon always draws a huge amount of attention wherever she goes with her radical rig configuration and stylish design. The tallest of her three freestanding and rotating masts reaches over 58-metres and she carries a total of 15 sails, creating a sail area of 2,400 square meters.
“We are very excited to be taking part in The Superyacht Cup again this year. For us, it is all about combining the excitement of the sailing and the fun of the social events. And Palma is such a great location; we are really looking forward to it,” commented Chris Gartner, the boat’s Captain.
Also confirming their participation are Anny (designed by Judel Vrolijk and built by Baltic Yachts) and Ithaka (designed by Doug Peterson and built by Jongert). Both yachts took part last year. Two new yachts to join the line-up are Irelanda (designed by Hoek and built by Alloy Yachts) and Blue Diamond (designed by Gilles Vaton and bult by JMV).
