The Charente-Maritime (France) to Bahia (Brazil) Transat 6.50 (or “Mini Transat” as it is commonly known) attracted 84 skippers to its start line this year, with 77 crossing the finish line after 20-30 days at sea.

Once across the line in Brazil, competitors’ thoughts soon turn to getting their boats back across the ocean, but this year Dutch company Sevenstar Yacht Transport are responsible for bringing back no less than 64 of the Mini 6.50s.
