It's been like autumn here, but have a look at high summer in Iceland
Global warming? It looks like it. This glamour shot by ex BT Challenge skipper Lin Parker was taken in Lonafjord, Iceland, in early June. Lin and her partner Richard were up there in their Oyster 55 charter yacht, Velvet Lady.
“There was a bright blue sky, a mirror flat sea and it was 24°C in the shade,” says Lin. “We were all sunburnt by the end of the day.”
“We have a few more trips to do before heading south for the winter, but will be offering sailing in Iceland again next summer.” See the Velvet Adventure Sailing website.
