The duo only formed back in February following Clark’s original helm Sarah Ayton’s decision to retire, opening the door for former World Youth champion Mills to join the 470 boat.

And they have wasted no time in kick-starting their quest for London 2012 glory – winning silver at a World Cup event in France in April before shooting to the top of the standings at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy with two victories from four races.

This is the first time the pair have competed at the London 2012 venue and while they are delighted with their start, they know it will mean nothing if they don’t finish top at the end of the week.
