With three firsts and second in yesterday's racing Alister Richardson and Peter Greenhalgh have stormed in to the lead at the 49er national championship
Thursday brought the breeze and some more exiting racing at the Ronstan 49er national championship at Weymouth.
A total of four races were held and Alister Richardson and Peter Greenhalgh had a superb day scoring three firsts and a second. They now lead the championship from Chris Draper and Simon Hiscocks.
The French team of Vincent Joyeux and Moreau Frederic took first place in the third race of the day and now lie in third place overall. Marcin Czajkowski and Krzysztof Kierkowski from Poland, along with the Irish team of Tom Fitzpatrick and Fraser Brown did enough to keep them in the running.
