Having started five minutes behind the rest of the fleet, Neal McDonald and Team Assa Abloy are leading the VOR fleet having slipped past Amer Sports One and Tyco during the night. However, the racing at the front is still close with just six miles between the leading six boats.

The fleet, which is due to arrive in Gothenburg on Wednesday evening, is currently five miles south of Beachy Head and just 50 miles from Dover. However, they still have several hours of adverse tide to contend with as they negotiate the Dover Straits.
