Only one point separates the leading two boats in the gold fleet at the 29er nationals
After a dull, misty start to the day yesterday (15 August) which caused an hour postponement, the first two races of the finals were sailed at the 29er nationals at Plym YC.
In the Gold fleet John Pink and Tom Weeks didn’t have it all their own way and are only leading by one point. Ed Clayson and Jonny Marshall are right on their heels having sailed two consistent races in the tricky conditions.
In the Silver fleet the top three are very close, Luke Patiance/David Wallace, Tom Stuart/Tom Evans and Caroline Martin/Leigh Albrect are all within a few points.
The final day of racing is today (Thursday) with everything to play for in both fleets.
