Nick Craig and James Stewart representing the Finn class win Endeavour Trophy at Burnham-on-Crouch
Last weekend’s Champion of Champions event, the Endeavour Trophy at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, Burnham-on-Crouch, was won for the second time running by Nick Craig and James Stewart representing the Finn class. This year’s event was sailed in Topper International’s brand-new fleet of Topper Xenons.
Saturday’s 12-15 knots of breeze allowed five of the eight races to be completed and the remaining three taking place, on Sunday in slightly lighter conditions.
As well as winning the Finn nationals and OK worlds this year, Craig sailing with Stewart won the RS400 Nationals. And a third place in the penultimate race this weekend was enough to secure the Endeavour Trophy for the second time in a row.
