The RYA Dinghy Sailing show at Alexandra Palace this weekend, marks the start of the dinghy sailing season. As well as well over 100 dinghies on display, there’ll be a chance to meet the British Olympic sailing team, who are heading for Athens later this year, and join them in the Question and Answer sessions.

A number of other well-known faces will be at the show including Lucy Craig of Channel 4’s faking it programme. The girl who went from complete beginner and went on to win on one of Sir Chay Blyth’s BT Challenge yachts with just four weeks sailing experience.

If you’re in the market for new gear for the sailing season, this show has plenty of bargains on offer. Also, in the Panorama hall, there will the opportunity to listen to expert advice from Mark Rushall, John Doerr and Steve Lovegrove and enjoy a free coaching and race training consultancy session in Palm Court 5.
