The Typhoon Fireball Super Series 2004 kicks off this weekend. There are top venues, more great prizes and a warm welcome for all Fireballers who'd like to take part
Typhoon International will once again sponsor the Typhoon Fireball Super Series. There are some great prizes up for grabs this year including Typhoon Pulse Wetsuits, Pulse Dry tops and Regatta boots. Best of all, the prizes are spread throughout the fleet so everyone is in with a chance of walking off with a top prize.
The first event of the series is to be hosted by Parkstone YC. A new venue for many Fireballers, Parkstone supports a growing Fireball fleet and offers the possibility of sailing in Poole Harbour or out in the more open waters of Poole Bay.
Next up is Brightlingsea SC in Essex. One of the largest Fireball clubs in the south-east, they’ll be putting up a strong home fleet which combined with the visitors should mean close racing at all levels and a great atmosphere in the club afterwards.
The third venue is Shoreham SC, near Brighton. Shoreham has been one of the best-supported events on the Fireball calendar in recent years and its inclusion in the Typhoon Super Series ensures it will be a top event with, as always, a social not to be missed.
The final venue is Notts County SC, just outside Nottingham. As well as having one of the biggest fleets in the Midlands, Notts County is home to both the current Fireball national champions and the current world and European champions. The finale of the series promises to provide some of the most competitive racing on the UK circuit at all levels of the fleet.
So for some great racing, fantastic prizes and a social programme not to be missed bring your Fireball along to the Typhoon Fireball Super Series and you never know what you might win.
