Round the world adventurer Adrian Flanagan hopes to resume his voyage on Thursday
Adrian Flanagan, who set off on his yacht Barrabas from Hamble Point Marina on Friday 28 October to sail round the world via the North East passage through the arctic region, was forced to turn back last Friday due to severe weather see previous news story here.
He sought safe haven at the mouth of the Helford River, Falmouth and spent the weekend sorting out the water damage inside the boat, fixing his heating system and malfunctioning water maker.
He’s now ready for the off again. A window of opportunity has opened and he plans to continue his journey at sunrise on Thursday morning.
