Leading sailing clothing company, Henri-Lloyd, has become the first official partner for Onboard – the RYA’s new grassroots sailing development programme which was launched on Tuesday at the Southampton Boat show see previous news story here .

As official clothing partner, Henri-Lloyd will supply clothing to instructors and participants in the Onboard programme over the next three years.

Henri-Lloyd is the first sponsor to join up with Onboard, and the RYA is keen to engage more companies to benefit from an association with the scheme. Henri-Lloyd currently sponsors several members of the highly successful Team GBR Olympic sailing squad, including gold medal winners Ben Ainslie, Shirley Robertson, Sarah Ayton and Sarah Webb. The company is also the official technical clothing supplier to the RYA Team GBR Olympic Classes Squad.

Henri-Lloyd is delighted to be able to build upon its strong links with the success of British yachting, and to help encourage and develop the next generation of British sailors.
