The Hobie 16 has been chosen by ISAF as the open and women multihull discipline for the ISAF Games which takes place on 29 June-10 July in Marseille. As one of the most popular classes in the world, the Hobie 16 has also been chosen for the ISAF Youth World Championship.
Each Member National Authority may enter up to two representatives in each event. The International Hobie Class Association (IHCA) is proud and honoured for the continuous support that has been given to the class. The World Sailing Games held every four years and is regarded as one of the highest achievements in sailing behind the Olympics.
The IHCA has seven regional chairmen and three Vice-Presidents covering the sailing world, all experienced Hobie Cat sailors. With this wealth of knowledge and experience there’ll be no shortage of assistance in coaching and finding Hobie Cats for teams planning to go the the event.
