Competitors a the IMS Rolex World Championship currently taking place at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda completed the second part of their 170-mile offshore race yesterday
The competitors at the IMS Rolex World Championship, which is currently taking place from the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, raced the second part of their Offshore race on a 170-mile course across Salerno’s Gulf yesterday.
The light winds of just 8 knots is caused a few problems for this Mid Offshore race but the fleet leaders Pasquale Landolfi’s Brava Q8 in division A and Natalio Cepollaro’s Bix in division B took control of their respective fleets. The provisional results after this third regatta race therefore, sees Brava Q8 and the Greek Okyalos XII dominating the two divisions, racing for Marco Peroni’s Trophy.
