Lack of boat has forced IACC-City, the third Italian America’s Cup syndicate, to stand down from the challenge
Enrico De Marchi, President of the third Italian America’s Cup syndicate, IACC-City, has decided to withdraw from the America’s Cup Challenge, after being unable to acquire a boat.
The team’s original plans for sailing ITA-48 collapsed in December when Prada decided withdraw their offer of leasing them the boat. The IACC-City Challenge however, hopes challenge for the 2006 America’s Cup.
