Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky – key sponsors for this year’s Dartmouth Royal Regatta which starts on Friday – will welcome Sir Robin Knox-Johnston as special guest for the duration of the regatta.

Sir Robin Knox-Johnston commenting on his attendance at the event said: “I have had a hectic year of competition on the water, and I am very much looking forward to attending this year’s Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta as a spectator. It was very kind of Old Pulteney to invite me as their guest and I am eager to see some fine sailing and enjoying a dram or two.”

Old Pulteney will welcome participants with a whisky tasting of their 12, 17 and 21-year-old fin expressions at the weekend’s key events and locations including the Picnic in the Park, the bustling Coronation Park Marquee, both of Dartmouth’s prestigious Yacht Clubs and crucially will be on hand to congratulate race winners with its award winning single malt at the official prize giving.
