Don’t miss the highlights from the RYA British Match Racing Open Championship which will be shown this Sunday 4 November at 1335 on BBC 2.

The RYA British Match Racing Open Championship took place in Portland harbour, hosted from the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy from the 17-20 September. It was a chance for some of the top British national match racers to line up against the best in the world, including names such as Paulo Cian, Jesper Feldt and Chris Main. Amongst the impressive line up were three British stars; veteran match racer Chris Law who was ranked number two in the world in 1999, GBR challenge starting helmsman Andy Green and two times Olympic Silver medallist Ian Walker.

The championship saw an impressive performance from the 2001 British Match racing champion Ian Williams, who lost only one match throughout the event to take the title.
