Next year’s RYA Sailboat and Windsurf Show at Alexandra Palace will be bigger and better than ever before thanks to 400sqm of extra space
The annual RYA Sailboat and Windsurf Show at London’s Alexandra Palace has finally burst its seams and is expanding into a new semi-permanent structure at the venue, to be known, for the Show, as the Panorama Hall.
The Show is in its 52nd year and is Britain’s biggest Show dedicated to racing sailboats, recreational dinghy sailing and windsurfing.
The Panorama Hall, with its stunning views over London, will feature a new RYA Forum area with live talks on topical issues, an RYA café and over 400 sqm of available space for exhibitors.
The Sailboat and Windsurf Show takes place on 1-2 March 2003. Other new features for 2003 include ‘Live it’ – a unique photographic exhibition by some of the country’s leading marine photographers. Gybe Zone – chats, games, competitions and entertainment for the under 16s and Palm Court Talks – experts on sailing and windsurfing providing red hot tips for all.
Commenting on the expansion Show Manager Jenny Curry said: “This is a very welcome move for the show. For several years we have had a waiting list of exhibitors and this additional hall will allow to accommodate those on the list and more!”
