GBR Challenge’s second America’s Cup boat is currently in build at the challenge base in Cowes in the UK and is likely to be shipped out to New Zealand to join GBR-70, Wight Lighting as the challenger for the Louis Vuitton Cup trials later in the year.

To ensure the two boats are identical, the new boat has been taken off the same moulds as GBR-70 and will be used as a back up.
