This Friday (14 June) sees the start of the Newport to Bermuda Race from the mouth of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island.
Sponsored jointly by the Cruising Club of America (CCA) and the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club (RBYC), this 635 nautical mile race, which is part of the five-race Onion Patch Series, draws IMS yachts and crews from all over the world with a total of 161 entries received so far. The race is scheduled to finish at St David’s Head, on the south-eastern tip of Bermuda three to four days later.
