Team News Corp on the east of the course has taken the lead from SEB. The wind is building as the fleet heads further south and has now reached 25 knots.

The wind is expected to shift and increase further to 30 knots within the next 12 hours. The air temperature is currently 16 degrees but crews are preparing to layer up as they head further in to the icy winds.
