Orange II, Bruno Peyron’s 120ft catamaran, crossed the Jules Verne start line just after 0900 (local time) today, six hours after Geronimo see news story here.

To beat Peyron’s current Jules Verne record of 64 days, 8 hours, 37 minutes and 24 seconds, the team aboard Orange II will have to cross the Ushant finish line before 16 hours, 38 minutes and 7 second on 30 April.
