Having turned back from their Cowes St Malo record attempt yesterday, soon after 1000 this morning Steve Fossett and his crew on the supercat PlayStation started on a new, round the Isle of Wight record attempt. The current record is 3h 10m 11s set in June this year by Francis Joyon, Rodney Pattisson and their three crew onboard the 60ft trimaran Dexia Eure et Loir.
