The first event on the international monohull circuit, the Primo Cup, is taking place over the first two weekends of February from the Yacht Club de Monaco.

A total of 10 classes of a minimum of eight competitors will be represented including Bénéteau 25s, J/22s, J/24s, Mumm 30s, Smeralda 888s, Stars, Surprises, Etchells, UFO 22s and Melges 24s.

Many of the classes have already confirmed their entry including the Surprises with 35 boats, the Mumm 30s with 21 and the Melges 24s with 22.

As well as the usual class prizes including ‘their weight in Haribos’ for the winner and Slam clothing, Credit Suisse (Monaco) have organised a lucky dip, open to all the participants of the Primo Cup, with the prize of a gold ingot.
