The US Sailing’s ninth biennial Rolex International Women’s Keelboat Championship will be held in Annapolis, Md, on September 22-28 next year.
The Annapolis YC will be taking the helm from Ida Lewis YC in Newport, RI, which has hosted the event since its inception in 1985.
Another significant change is the replacement of the J/24 to the J/22.
These changes were implemented by US Sailing’s Women’s Keelboat Committee after analyzing extensive questionnaires and conversations with participants. Also for the first time in the regatta’s history, a Rolex timepiece will be awarded to the winning boat.
