As the fleet approaches the finish in Boston the weather gets tricky
After the fortnight long drag race up from Rio to Boston, the weather starts to shuffle the pack and cause havoc. Already, long term leg leader Telefonica Blue has seen it’s 100 mile lead disappear as Ericsson 4 reeled them in and overtake. A crushing blow for skipper Bouwe Bekking and his team.
In this week’s podcast we hear from Ericsson 4’s navigator Jules Salter on how the current race leaders have managed to haul themselves back into the race.
We also hear from Puma skipper Ken read as the team draws in on home soil and from Telefonica Black’s navigator Roger Nilson.
