The VO60 Bank BPH, on her round the world voyage, has hit light airs off the African coast
Polish sailor Roman Paszke and his nine-man crew who last Wednesday started their challenge to set the first ever fully crewed, non-stop monohull circumnavigation sailing record, have hit light airs.
Sailing the VO60 Bank BPH (ex-Assa Abloy) they’ve passed the Canary Islands and are currently inching their way along the African coast in light airs. In the last 24 hours they covered just 196nm at an average speed of 8.2kts.
