The yacht that was stolen from Crosshaven Boatyard, Cork on 25-26 October see news story here, has been found, dismasted but otherwise okay.
According to Donal McClement, proprietor of Crosshaven Boatyard, Providence 34.2ft Jeanneau Sun Odyssey turned up in Newlyn in Cornwall. The coastguards picked up a Mayday and airlifted a man off the yacht on 29 October somewhere off the Scillies. He told the coastguard he was en route from Cork to Portugal when he injured himself and is apparently still in hospital in the UK being questioned by the police.
