Now all the VOR yachts are through the doldrums, the racing has settled down with illbruck consolidating her well established lead. Crews are now enjoying a good, steady 18 knot breeze in the 28 degree temperatures.

The leaders of the fleet are less than 400 nautical miles from the Caribbean Islands and just over 1,500 nautical miles from Miami. There have not been too many position changes over the last 24 hour but News Corp, Amer Sports Too, and djuice, at the tailend of the fleet, have been making the best speeds over the last six hours, with Amer Sports One making the most gains in the last few hours.
