Storms brewing for the start of the windsurfing competitions.
With a promise of gales tomorrow for the start of the wavesailing competition, even in the early heats the contest should be exciting to watch. Many of the UK’s top competitors have arrived at White Air already in preparation for the event including John Skye, Andy Funnell, Andy King, Robby Swift, John Hibbard and Mark Hosegood.
We have news from the organisers that world class kite boarder Marc ‘Flash’ Austin is flying in from Maui to take part in the KBBT International open on Friday so it looks like we should be in for an exhilarating weekend with some of the world’s best riders competing in the UK finals.
We will keep you updated daily on the windsurfing and kite boarding events as they happen. For more information on one of Europe’s largest extreme sports festival go to www.whiteair.co.uk
