Tonight sees the traditional Friday night fireworks display, one of the highlights of Skandia Cowes Week. The display can be seen as far away as Poole in the West and Chichester in the East. On shore the best vantage points are Cowes Parade, Castle Hill, Princes Green as far as Egypt Point, East Cowes seafront and the grounds of Northwood House.
The display starts at 21:30, but tens of thousands of people will be gathering from late afternoon – so grab your spot early.
