Maximum temperature in Cowes is expected to be around 21 to 23 degrees.

If you are visiting Cowes today be sure to check out the Parade where you can sign up for Skandia’s Try Sailing lessons. The lessons are organised in association with the UKSA and allow members of the public to try their hand at sailing free of charge (donations can be made to the Ellen MacArthur Trust).
If you aren’t ready to venture out onto the water you can always take part in the Virtual Skipper Game, where the best time of the day wins a bag of Timberland goodies. You can enter on the Parade stand.
Tonight competitors and visitors can get into the groove with the Castle Jazz band, followed by Caribbean soloist Derek Sandy, covers’ bands Driving South and Risky Business.
Racing begins this morning at 10:55.
