As well as Skandia’s Try Sailing initiative, and Virtual Skipper challenge, the Farr 52’s Bear of Britain and Chernikeeff 2 match-race in tribute to Kit Hobday at 18:00. The winner will be awarded the Kit Hobday Memorial Cup. “Ignorance isn’t bliss” is the charity started by Kit Hobday to raise awareness of prostrate cancer, Kit passed away recently and this race is in tribute to him and all those missing him during Skandia Cowes Week.
