Race Against Time
It is reported that Ellen MacArthur found writing the book about her record- breaking circumnavigation harder than the trip itself. The book’s title says it all: it became a race against time as she saw her lead over Francis Joyon’s record being slowly whittled away until she managed to claw it back again to finish over a day ahead.
