Solaris may change that however with this Solaris 50 – arguably the most up-to-date performance cruiser today. She represents the melodious meeting of South American design flare with Italian styling.

Her Argentinean designer Javier Soto Acebal has a gift for contemporary aesthetics. Among the features that give the Solaris 50 her trendsetting looks and status is a dreadnought bow and chines with inverted flare.

But does Solaris have the engineering and build quality to match her good looks? We sailed the first 50 to launch from her Adriatic home of the 40-year old Solaris yard to find out.
